SURAL, C.A. is a leader in the technology of continuous casting and rolling of aluminum alloys. At its modern plant located in the Matanzas Industrial Zone of Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela, the company employs people specializing in the manufacture of electrical and mechanical aluminum alloy rods, plus wire and cable for the electrical world markets.

The plant, which was established in 1976, is designed, constructed and equipped with the most advanced machinery available. The plant is staffed by an engineering team of aluminum process experts to ensure that the products manufactured by SURAL meet the stringent demands of the customers under recognized official specifications, quality, reliability, and technical development.

Rod Coil

SURAL's manufacturing facility employs continuous caster-based production lines to produce aluminum rod.

Aluminum supplied directly from a nearby smelter, in molten form, is converted by metal treatment alloying and handling systems to continuos and casting rod.

Two continuous cast rod mills produce EC grade and alloy rod.

The extensive range of Sural cable products meets the specifications demanded by users around the world. Cable stranding of the tubular and rigid frame type are employed to produce standard and special sizes of bare aluminum cable. Types of cable include:
